Alison joined JD Law in 2015 and joined Joelson upon merger in April 2016, acting as a consultant on Private Client matters.

After gaining a first in English and Philosophy, she studied at the College of Law and qualified as a Solicitor in 2003. She has previously worked at a number of well-known firms in the City and the West End.

Alison has a wealth of experience handling work relating to: wills and estate planning; inheritance tax planning, probate and the administration of estates, mental capacity and Powers of Attorney.

She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), having qualified via the thesis route in 2007, and is currently studying to become a member of the Association of Tax Technicians. She was named as one of six “Rising stars” in her field in the 2014 Super Lawyers list.

In her spare time, Alison enjoys spending time with her husband and young son.
