Joelson advises Currell on its strategic acquisition by Savills

Joelson has today announced that it advised independently-owned real estate company Currell on its acquisition by Savills, the global real estate services provider.

Currell is one of the best-known East London-based real estate firms, with offices in Islington, Clerkenwell, Hackney, Hackney Wick and Victoria Park. The sale of the company to Savills will allow Currell to expand its reach and take advantage of Savills’ established position as one of the leading real estate firms worldwide. For Savills, Currell’s expertise and reputation in providing first-class real estate services in East London will allow the firm to respond to client demand across a broader stretch of the capital, as the region continues to undergo rapid growth.

Joelson’s Corporate team advised Currell on the transaction. The team guided Currell’s shareholders through the entire process from preliminary negotiation, through heads of terms, to execution of sale documents. The firm’s Employment practice was also engaged to handle related aspects of the acquisition.
