One of London’s leading commercially-focused legal firms, Joelson, has been listed in six separate categories in the latest Legal 500 guide.
The practice, with offices in Portland Place and The City, has been recognised in the prestigious rankings for its work in Commercial Litigation, Corporate (Mergers and Acquisitions), Employment: Employers & Senior Executives, as well as Licensing and Gaming and Betting – placing it amongst some of the UK’s top firms in these areas.
The Legal 500 guide also praises a number of Joelson’s partners individually for their specialist expertise, including David Greenhalgh, Jennifer Maxwell-Harris, Paul Chiappe, Phil Hails-Smith, Sheldon Cordell, Philippa Sturt, Niall McCann and one of the firm’s consultants Richard Williams, each of whom is highly praised.
The Legal 500 uses a rigorous selection process in deciding which firms to rank, a critical element being positive feedback from client referees. Phil Hails-Smith, Joint Managing Partner at Joelson, said: “We are delighted that the Legal 500 has recognised our firm in so many practice areas.
“To have so many departments and partners included in the list is a reflection of the high quality of service provided by our talented team.
“It is also recognition of the high calibre of work we are given by our amazing clients, all of whom continue to express their satisfaction in the best way possible – by recommending us to their contacts.”
