Joelson, the leading London law firm, has advised Charlie Kerr and the management team of With Intelligence, a provider of investment intelligence for fundraising in public and private markets, on a strategic sale to S&P Global for $1.8 billion.
S&P Global is a world-leading provider of data and insights for global markets.
With Intelligence serves around 3,000 customers globally, including Limited Partners, General Partners and advisors across sectors such as Private Equity, Private Credit, Hedge Funds, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Family Offices.
The combination of S&P Global and With Intelligence will provide for a global platform for the market leading private capital markets intelligence information develop by With Intelligence.
Joelson is delighted to have worked on this landmark deal for Charlie and the team. This is the culmination of a 25 year relationship with Charlie Kerr and With Intelligence. Joelson worked with Charlie and his Co-Founder Seb Timpson when they initially set up Pageant Media over 25 years ago. In 2021, Pageant Media became With Intelligence and then in 2023 they received majority stake investment from Motive Partners.
The Joelson team have supported With Intelligence on a wide range of projects from M&A to Real Estate throughout this period, supporting the growth of With Intelligence in the UK and internationally.
Joelson’s Corporate team was led by Managing Partner, Phil Hails-Smith supported by Harriet McDonald, Katie Braddell and Alfie Rowland.
