About

About

Joelson is a commercially focused law firm founded in 1956 (as Joelson Wilson).  Its goal then remains unchanged today – to provide first class, proactive, partner-led legal advice with an in-depth commercial understanding of your relevant business sector.

We use our in-depth sector knowledge to evaluate the legal issues and challenges facing you. We evolve and adapt with our clients and the way they do business.

We recognise the importance of creating a fair and equal working environment and ensuring that our business operates ethically. This year as a firm we are proudly supporting The Brain Tumour Charity. Every year we offer work experience mentoring placements to a local school.

We are working hard to reduce our impact on the environment by reducing our carbon footprint.

Ensuring our employees feel engaged by working in a diverse and inclusive workplace is of the utmost importance. We are proud that we have as many women as men working here at Joelson.

We are committed to giving back to the community through undertaking Pro Bono work and are a member of LawWorks.

We have partnerships with London & Partners and the China-Britain Business Council, as well as being the founding firm in the  European Lawyers Network.

To us it’s not just about law. It means more than that. We are your partners. We are your champions.

Licensed Solutions Ltd

“We have worked together with Joelson on a number of Administration projects involving licensed premises. Unlike a number of high profile law firms whose lawyers are not necessarily experts in this field, they always deal with matters in a timely, focused and proactive manner. With Joelson we know that our clients are in safe hands in what is a technical minefield and would not hesitate to recommend them to any bank or insolvency practitioner dealing with a distressed business in the leisure sector.”
