Joelson is a commercially focused law firm founded in 1956 (as Joelson Wilson) and its goal then remains unchanged today – to provide first class, proactive, partner-led legal advice with an in-depth commercial understanding of your relevant business sector.

Originally occupying a town house on New Cavendish Street, in 2007 the firm moved to our more spacious current location at 30 Portland Place.

In March 2009, the firm became a limited liability partnership and later, in April 2016, it merged with a specialist commercial property firm and re-branded to become Joelson.

We use our in-depth industry knowledge to evaluate the legal issues and challenges facing you. We evolve and adapt along with our clients and the way they do business.

Joelson recognises the importance of creating a fair and equal, internal working environment and ensuring that our business operates ethically. This year as a firm we are proudly supporting The Brain Tumour Charity. Every year we offer work experience mentoring placements to a local school.

We are working hard to reduce our impact on the environment by reducing our carbon footprint.

Ensuring our employees feel engaged through working in a diverse and inclusive workplace is of the utmost importance. We are proud that we have as many women as men working here at Joelson.

We have partnerships with London & Partners and the China-Britain Business Council, as well as being the founding firm in the  European Lawyers Network.

To us it’s not just about law. It means more than that. We are your partners. We are your champions.
