On Thursday 7 September we welcomed staff, clients and friends of Joelson to our first ever Summer Party.
Hosted in God’s Garden just next door to our offices at the wonderful One Marylebone, we jointly celebrated two massive milestones: achieving B Corp certification and Phil Hails-Smith and Paul Chiappe, our managing partners, celebrating “50 years” of deals at Joelson.
Our B Corp certification, making us only one of an exclusive group of just 10 commercial law firms in the UK to receive certification, started originally in 2018 after we were inspired by one our clients and our certification confirms that Joelson meets exacting standards in key impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customer Relations.
Attaining B Corp status is no small feat so what better way than to celebrate with some food and drink!
We have partnered with Ecologi and are now a Climate Action workforce. Through Ecologi we are planting trees across the world to grow our own forest to offset our carbon emissions.
