Joelson, the leading London law firm, has advised Cyb3r Operations, London-based cybersecurity startup, on its £4 million funding round, led by Octopus Ventures. The investment brings Cyb3r Operations’ total funding to £5 million. This is the second funding round Joelson has supported Cyb3r Operations on, following their pre-seed round led by Pi Labs in 2024.
Cyb3r Operations helps organisations gain continuous visibility into third-party cyber risk at a time when more than a third of major cyber incidents now originate from suppliers, partners, and other external providers.
Cyb3r Operations transforms outdated, manual risk checks into continuous, automated oversight, helping world’s largest companies spot and tackle third-party cyber risks in real time.
The Cyb3r Operations platform provides actionable insight into which third-party relationships matter most, how risk is evolving, and where security teams should prioritise action.
The funding will help expand the platform, boost its threat intelligence capabilities, and enable more organisations to manage third-party and supply-chain cyber risks with confidence.
Joelson’s team was led by Managing Partner, Paul Chiappe and supported by Associate, Rajiv Samani and Solicitor, Salma Seoudy.
Vincent Cook, Founder & CEO at Cyb3r Operations commented:
“Joelson’s expert guidance and hands-on support were instrumental in helping us successfully complete our fundraising. A highly trusted partner previously and throughout.”
Paul Chiappe, Managing Partner at Joelson, added:
“Delighted to support Vincent and the Cyb3r Operations team on this important funding round, which reflects both the strength of the platform and ambition of the business. This transaction also strengthens our footprint in the tech sector and we look forward to supporting Cyb3r Operations as they scale and redefine how organisations manage cyber risk.”
