Joelson is proud to announce that our 2026 environmental giving has been certified by 1% for the Planet, independently verifying that we have met our commitment to contribute at least 1% of annual revenue to vetted environmental organisations. To date, Joelson has contributed over £100,000 to 1% of the Planet’s in-network environmental partners.

Having now been a member of 1% for the Planet for coming up for a year its great to have the formal certification and verification by the team at 1% for the Planet to confirm that our environmental contributions equal to 1% of our revenue have all be correctly attributed to their network members.

As a firm, we aim to translate our environmental commitments into measurable action, supporting organisations working to protect and restore the natural world.

At Joelson, we believe that businesses have a responsibility not only to create value for clients, but also to contribute positively to society and the environment. We are proud to stand alongside a growing global network of organisations using business as a force for good and look forward to continuing to support meaningful environmental action in the years ahead.

Phil Hails-Smith, Managing Partner at Joelson, says:

“At Joelson, we believe that we have a responsibility to contribute positively to the world around us. Having our charitable giving independently certified by 1% for the Planet is hugely important to ensure that all of our environmental giving credentials have been properly certified and ensures that we are having the maximum impact to ensure nature preservation and restoration.”
