Joelson is proud to lead Hercules, a female founders club giving you the tools to unlock your Herculean potential and elevate your business journey.

Hercules was founded by three members of our corporate team, Maria Panayi, Emma Vantine and Sylvia Lau.

What Hercules does and more about it:

to connect women running their own businesses in a professional, welcoming and collaborative environment
to build business confidence in women
to tackle the business-knowledge and skills gap in the female entrepreneurial journey
is chaired by Vivien Wong (Co-Founder of Little Moons)
is built by female professionals at Joelson with experience supporting female founders in all stages of a company’s life cycle, including fundraises and exits

Joelson advises female-led businesses routinely and we see the gap:

in England, we have x3.7 less female-led companies than male-led ones (2023)
only 13% of women apply for a loan/overdraft for their business versus 51% for men (2023)
female-led companies secure 7 times less funding than male-led companies (2023)
