Joelson ranked in Legal 500 2020

Posted Thursday 21st November 2019

The Legal 500 guide, the world’s leading independent authority on the best law firms and lawyers in the UK, has recommended London law firm Joelson across a number of categories in its latest 2020 edition.

Prepared each year by a dedicated team of researchers, the guide is the go-to reference point for in-house counsel, businesses and clients looking to find the best legal advisers in the UK.

Listings are based in part on feedback from clients who work with the firms being considered for inclusion in the guide.

Joelson has achieved recognition across four different legal service categories in the 2020 rankings with ten of its lawyers having been individually recommended.

The firm’s Corporate and Commercial team has been recommended for its M&A work based on the work undertaken by “highly commercial” partners Paul Chiappe, Phil Hails-Smith and Philippa Sturt.

Joelson’s litigation team, led by Joanne Gregory, is also ranked and “punches well above its weight, with high-profile clients and a very personal yet professional service”.

The “friendly, sensible, and reliable team” Joelson Employment team has been ranked twice for both its work with ‘Employers’ and also for ‘Senior Executives’.  Consultant David Greenhalgh and Jennifer Maxwell-Harris are both individually recommended in the guide.

For its Gaming & Licensing services, Joelson has been recognised for its work in the hospitality & leisure sectors.

Joelson Consultant David Greenhalgh said:

“We are absolutely delighted to once again be listed in so many categories within this year’s prestigious and independent Legal 500 guide. We are grateful to our loyal clients for sharing their positive experiences of working with us with the guide.”
