Guy joined Joelson as a Solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial team in February 2020.
Guy has experience on all sides of the legal fence having worked in private practice, in-house and as a commercial decision maker. Prior to joining Joelson, Guy was the Commercial Director at a large importer based in Beijing. Before that he worked as solicitor at a large travel retail business which he moved to after completing his training contract at a Silver Circle law firm. Guy can offer advice on a range of commercial issues with a particular focus on supply agreements, franchising, manufacturing agreements, cross-border arrangement and trade, tech and IT development, concession agreements, data protection and GDPR compliance, advertising, consultancy agreements and IP licencing. Guy also has experience of working on a variety of corporate transactions. He speaks Mandarin Chinese at an advanced level.
