Joelson welcomed Jude to its property team in June 2017, after he spent four years working at property practices in the South East where he assisted with commercial property matters, landlord and tenant issues and development services.
He has assisted businesses and landlords with lease extensions, covenant enforcement, service charge and ground rents and rights to manage.
Jude also deals with the sale and acquisition of commercial and high-value residential properties, as well as property financing and site set-up.
Jude qualified as a solicitor in October 2015 and is a member of the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners.

On 7 January 2021, the Housing Secretary, Robert Jenrick, announced massive changes to enfranchisement law, with plans to allow leaseholders to extend their current lease by a maximum term of 990 years at a ‘peppercorn’ (i.e. zero) ground rent and the ending the payment of ‘marriage value’ to freeholders, potentially saving leaseholders thousands of pounds.
