Maria joined Joelson’s Corporate and Commercial team in 2017. She is dual qualified in England and an advocate in Cyprus.
She has extensive experience advising on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, group reorganisations, AIM transactions and shareholder arrangements. Maria regularly advises early-stage companies, angel investors and VCT/EIS funds on equity/debt investments. On the commercial side, she assists clients on general commercial matters, focusing on the drafting of terms & conditions, commercial partnering arrangements, consumer contracts and GDPR privacy policies.
Maria has experience in a variety of sectors, including technology, mineral processing and food & drink. Her multi-jurisdictional legal background has proven particularly beneficial for cross-border transactions.
