Yana began her training contract in January 2021. She previously worked in Growth and Product development at a tech start-up.
She graduated with a degree in International Relations with Honours from the University College of Amsterdam before completing an LLM in Law and Economics from the EMLE programme at the universities of Hamburg, Rotterdam and Haifa. Following her studies, Yana interned at commercial law firms and venture philanthropy in Singapore. Moving to the UK to complete her legal studies, she completed her Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law in Bristol before moving to London for the Legal Practice Course at BPP.
Yana holds both German and American citizenships and speaks German, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. She has lived in 8 countries across 4 continents.
